I have poked around with other books, but never really found them to be especially "gripping". This book has a number to tricks to get the most out of your images as well as tips for the beginner. I found that many of the things that I do, which led to some of my best images, were specifically discussed in the book. Martin is a fan of the study of light and it's behaviour in the water, and I discovered long ago that using natural light wisely can result in some special images.
The book is nicely printed (I'm in the business!) with hundreds of beautiful images which are used to illustrate the topic being discussed.
Not surprisingly, there are many links to discussions here on Wetpixel, so you're best to have your laptop handy when reading this book.
There are also several contributions by other Wetpixel members who have contributions to make in their specialty.
An enjoyable read overall, and I highly recommend it to new and not-so-new shooters alike.
