Can somebody point me to a website / description that explains the difference between the older Z220 model and the current Z240 model ? A complete overview of the evolution of the strobe would be helpful....

Biggest difference is the sensor, z240 is much more sensitive.
No pre flash with the z220(i think)
Very minor change in the guide level.

I asked because I saw some for sale. I looked a little bit further now, and there is doubt if the target light / lase would work (ikelite housing). It seems to be a bit finnicky with the target light and laser on non inon housings. probably wont buy them. I also read something about a recharging beep.....

I believe the z220 has a focus light, the z220s does not. From the ebay page, it does look like a focus light. I wound not pay 350 for a strobe that old(but that is me)

I decided not to bid on them. I like the way my ds-51's work, but i did have some unexplained floods and thought maybe to switch to inons. (also to get a little wider).
