In a surprise operation, Indonesian police killed 5 suspected terrorists in 2 separate incidents, including one in popular Sanur. The terrorists were plotting to attack a Seminyak bar called La Vida Loca.

As a result, security is up in the big touristy areas. Apparently the suspects were "fund-raising" by robbery.

There were some heightened roadblocks by police when we were there 2 weeks back. They were from the trg group. Must explain it then.
