a few black and white shots from Malta :lol:

and one colour to prove I dont only shoot b and w!

all shots (except the peacock worm) taken with a canon g10

thanks Aqua soul, yes he was an obliging model - kept changing shape, size and colour and hung about for quite a while!

Malta has a fond place in my heart- dived there many times- but- never captured anything like what your eye has!

Im in the water almost every week mate so sooner or later you come across things :lol:

Had a night dive last night in Cirkewwa and didn't see much - The previous week had a night dive in the exact same spot and got the long arm octopus above, 5 other octopus (common and whitespotted), a slipper lobster, sea hare, many stingrays, star gazer, huge anglerfish, bobtail squid, feather stars etc etc all in one dive (no kidding)

so it's luck of the draw and making sure you're underwater as much as possible :)

Nice set. I really like the 4th B&W and the octopus in color is a great shot. The shape is fantastic.

thanks Pam! I like the worm pic too - it has a really abstract look with lots of movement which im very happy with :P

The octopus was a very lucky find!
