It looks interesting. No mention of the cost tho and who knows if a housing will be made for it.

Canon's Xf300/ Xf305 have been adopted as the Producer/2ndcam choice so its about time Sony came out with something... Its BBC spec accepted for HD broadcast aquisition so hopefully someone like Amphibico will accomodate it

Probably not, I'm afraid
I was just pointing out that "single-chip" vs "three-chip" is no longer an absolute measure of the image quality that a camera produces.
