Trip report to follow, some day. Great trip on the Damai, only 8 guest, fantastic crew, 2 divers per guide, nice camera room and all about photogs. Want to stay at a site, great, no problem. Move fine. 1/2 of you want to go there and the other half there, ok. Did not even realize Mike Veitch was our Cruise Director till well into the trip, duh. He actually had good advice on lenses for dive sites, lol. Plus as you can see quite the way with the dragons.

Hmmm Mikey's tummy seems to be inflating!

I'm just wondering how is it you didn't know Mike was the cruise director? Did he introduce himself at the beginning or did he pretend to be a guest? :)

Thanks for the compliments. No Mike did an excellent job. Just general cluelessness on my part and being horrible with names. Get on board, start setting up, blah, blah, blah.

Are you sure you got the White Balance right on that shot of the pole cam? Mike looks a little pasty for a guy who lives in the tropics.

Cheers,
Steve

Great images, except for Mike dicing with dragon spit (quite the most noxious substance in the animal kingdom) and breaking half-a-dozen Indonesian rules... :)
