The idea was to create as big 'bokeh circles' as possible, behind macro subjects using a flashlight with fibre optic cables attached.

Taken in the Swan river/estuary in Perth - Western Australia
Setup: Canon S95 and Ikelite housing, INON S2000 strobe and DIY fibre optic ringflash. Stacked INON UCL-165 M67 Close up lens. Plus attached a flashlight with optic fibres.
Second and last photo minor crop. (less than 10%)

Very inventive indeed! well done!

I also love the blenny in the second shot... his cirri are amazingly long. He looks like a rabbit.

I like the idea, but find it a little distracting

Nikon D800, Nikon D7000, Nauticam, Inons, Subtronic Novas. Lens collection - 10-17, 15, 16, 16-35, 14-24, 24-70, 85, 18-200, 28-300, 70-200, 60 and 105, TC's. Macs with Aperture and Photoshop.

Another great idea Xander, I like the shots except some more light is needed on the Parablennius.
