For those who are planning to go to Raja Ampat area, you may want to plan
a brief sojourn at Ambon; the diving is relaxing, and the natives are friendly,
very friendly, at Maluku.

We only did a short trip (four days of diving) this Easter, and could've mucked
around happily for longer.

A brief trip report and some critter photos are on my website: Ambon trip report, Apr 12

I wonder if anyone can help to identify the critters in this image? They're small
(2-3cm) and hiding in a soft cloth-like sock shaped green moss.

Thanks for the info. I'll be diving Maluku in late November. Really nice photos. Hope to see the bumble bee shrimp. Again thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I haven't dived at all this summer, so I look forward to your photos now for some vicarious enjoyment.
