Im ready to upgrade my D90 system.
Im going to stick with ikelite housings and nikon cameras.
my question is about the choices...
my 4 choices are D7000, D300s, D3s/d4 and D800.
Are the DX systems of the D7000 and D300s that much of an upgrade over my D90?
If its only a small upgrade, should i just wait till next year when i can afford to purchase the D800 and go FX?

Short answer is go D7000. There are lots of threads on DX vs FX you should review before making the switch for underwater.

i agree but i am in the same situation and i am waiting to see what Nikon do next. if not i am saving for the D800. the D7000 is a great camera but i cannot see the justification for the upgrade from a D90 for UW use.... just my 50 fils worth
