Im ready to upgrade my D90 system.
Im going to stick with ikelite housings and nikon cameras.

my question is about the choices...
my 4 choices are D7000, D300s, D3s/d4 and D800.

Are the DX systems of the D7000 and D300s that much of an upgrade over my D90?
If its only a small upgrade, should i just wait till next year when i can afford to purchase the D800 and go FX?
Nikon D90, Ikelite housing, Ikelite DS-200, DS 50 strobes, Nikkor 60mm, Nikkor 105mm.

Short answer is go D7000. There are lots of threads on DX vs FX you should review before making the switch for underwater.

i agree but i am in the same situation and i am waiting to see what Nikon do next. if not i am saving for the D800. the D7000 is a great camera but i cannot see the justification for the upgrade from a D90 for UW use.... just my 50 fils worth :)
