Dear all,

This is some of my macro images with new camera D800 from Tulamben.

All images were taken by D800 + 105mmvr + 1.4xTC ( most are in FX mode, a few are in 1.5x DX mode)

Compare to my D700, I love the focus speed, focus function, color space, dynamic range of this new camera.

Thanks for your viewing and comments.

Wonderful images Jenny, looks like a great trip. The spotted croucher is a great find. First time I've seen it.

You rock,

Great images! How do you like the d800? Have you done any wide angle with it?

I think that there are some spectacular images there, and the effect of depth of field really appeals to me: I can't wait to get to grips with macrophotography now I've got some replacement strobes to go with my D800!

Jenny, I love your beautiful goby photos. I had thought Bali might be crowded and crushed. Obviously not. Wished I could get that narrow depth of field on my G12. Cheers, Jennifer
