Hi,

I have a D7000. When i set a long shutter speed ex. 10 seconds. The D7000 takes a photo of 10 seconds. But the problem is when the photo has been taken, I can't do nothing for 10 seconds. He says job processing.

If i take a shutter speed of 30 seconds, i have to wait 30 seconds after the photo has been taken.
This is very iretating.

Is this normal ?
Anybody has the same problem ?

Your long exposure noise reduction is on, for every long exposure, the file is revisited by the camera in order to improve the noise in the picture, if you want to shorten this, you will have to disengage this feature in your menu and forfeit that feature (you can also us a third party noise reduction software).
