Hello everyone,

Anybody know witch is the best underwater lightning equipments at this time ?
I shoot with a phenom FXZ1 and looking for great lights !

Seriously, though, I'd recommend you go for the highest lumen LED output @ a very wide beam angle (100 degrees +) that you can afford.

I was searching for a good and affordable light out in the market, and this is what I came up with. Mangrove 4L6 http://www.aditech-u...act-vc-4l6.html

They are very bright and the beam angle is 120ºx130º. You can watch this light in action HERE

The Sola 4000's put out great light, but I think those Mangroves would be pretty good too.

the vcl46 are extremely heavy and this coul be a problem

The Mangroves are heavy, but one way or the other, you want your lights to last. That means batt power. The choice is a heavy batt pack on your housing or your tank... or self contained. I have cables, so I chose self-contained. Buoyancy can be easily compensated.

I use and love my Keldan lights. Has anyone any experience with the lights produced by Gates? I have only seen them topside.

I agree but I'm under the impression that here the Fisheye are not well regarded. ;)

I had the opportunity to dive with the Sola 2000, 4000 and the Mangrove. IMHO for price/performance ratio Fisheye Aquavolt 3500 are the best of them.
The Mangrove are the cheapest but they are very bulky and heavy. I know that buoyancy can be easily compensated but in this case it's a pita.
I used a lot Halcyon hid and lately Yellow Diving hid video lights but I hate having extra cables and canister.

I wish I could upgrade to the Aquavolt 7000. Light is never enough :)
