I would suggest taking the classic underwater rule underground too - shoot up. Even if there's only a roof instead of a surface, it's a good angle.
You have a lot more lighting control in caves, so experiment lots. Silhouettes look good, and backlighting and reflective ceiling bubbles can be lots of fun. It looks like you have a patient buddy there...get him wearing as much colour as possible to help you out. Black suits are really tricky.

one thing about your buddy.. and i know cave divers like black, but.. a single frame clear mask would be a lot better for the close up shots, that way you won't get the shadows on his face
