I have the Sea&Sea VX-950 Pro housing for the Sony PDX 10P DVCAM.
I would like to upgrade the camera and buy the Sony HVR-A1U if this camera will work with the old VX-950 housing.
Could anyone offer their expertise, I will be very grateful for any help.

Hmmm, I actually tried this and remember (this is like 6-7 years ago) that the A1 is bigger than the PDX-10 but lost my VS950 before I could test it.. However, I know other housings like the USVH could be retrofitted. The lanc functions work but I think I remember a need for a firmware update on the housing.
