Cree XP-G emitters are quite an old generation of LED technology (hence they need 27 LEDs)...and not anywhere as efficient (Lm/w) as lights using XML emitters.

This light looks very interesting.
Have you tested it underwater?

A bit OT...but it might be of interest to some that the same company has apparently released a glass dome replacement for Nauticam M43 housing ports. So why doesn't Nauticam use glass in the first place?

Google: "F.I.T. 4.33'' Optical Glass Dome Port for Nauticam M43 MILC Housing" for more information.

I saw they sell the glass alone or the entire dome port. I showed that link to the Italian Nauticam dealer who sell also F.I.T.products. He was very surprised because he just received the new catalog and there was no mention of that glass domes. He will be in HK in Nauticam next week and he will ask them if we could expect an original Nauticam glass dome for m43.

Bye
