Apart from the size it's great work. Given that you have to make it round, screwing into the camera housing's rear viewing port is a very good idea.

It's always better to use the tools at hand and make something that works than to never even try...

I am following with interest so please keep posting. I would love to see you guys try to provide access to the retrospective slow-motion feature. I don't know how that works on the FS700, but I expect it would be difficult.

Hi guys,
Here is a rough edit for a footage shot by the FS700 setup. Unfortunately visibility was not good.

The recording was done directly on the camera SD card – not on the Ninja II this time. The Ninja was used as a monitor only due to the need to use the camera menu functions which causes the HDMI output to pass everything including the menus to the Ninja II. We promise to record directly on it next time after Sultan comes from Haj (pilgrimage) in 2-3 weeks time.

The footage has been color graded but not to perfection.

There is a good shot of a slow motion taken at 400 frames per second.

IMHO, the camera got great potential but not totally unleashed yet.

Hi All,

Sultan managed to punch a hole in his housing for MWB. Using this control - MWB - produces much better result than the preset WB.
I will be updating further updates on this thread

This hosuing now can be for either the FS100 and the FS700. Each has its own tray hence the cameras are not the same size.

Here is a short video clip taking by FS100 using the new Sony 10-18mm F4 OSS lens:
