I have seen the first photographic tests of the Sony RX 1 and the images obtained are very good, for this reason I believe that Sony RX 1 will be a serious good camera for underwater photography.
Your lens is a 35 mm but will be converted in a 50 mm (x1,4) and a 70 mm (x2) and can be used as 35 mm, 50 mm and 70 mm with a good image quality in the three situations.
To be adapted for underwater photography it would need:
- A underwater housing with a flat port
- A wet fish eye lens (as the fantastic Inon UFL-165 but for full frame)
- A wet wide angle lens
- A few wet macro lenses.
With these accessories might have a full frame system of underwater photography usable in diving, thing that up to the date only is obtained by compact cameras.
