Hmm.... so if you keep it Aperture or Program mode, would you have that auto brightness effect like when you penetrate wreck/cave that go from dark to bright with grainy noise? Can you set custom white balance outside of none Manual mode?

You need to lock exposure as per post 2 to ensure the camera doesn't rebalance
Custom white balance does not exist in any of the movie modes see post 3
