Has anyone gotten a nano SIM in Indonesia for an iPhone 5? Headed there soon and want to get one when I arrive, but I'm not sure if they exist there, yet. I know I can cut it down, but wanted to know what others are doing.

If you have, do you have any suggested places to get a nano SIM in Jakarta on a layover, or in Ambon on arrival? :)

It's available not widely. the iPhone 5 just came out in Nov there. If you have a long layover, grapari stalls in the higher end malls like gandaria plaza should have it but I'd call first. I know there's an xl store in pacific place which should have it too. Again call first. I doubt Ambon would have it so soon since it's in such limited supply in JKT.
I'd dust off the old phone for local calls sim card and get the international roaming plan for data. Or just cut! Posted Image
