Dear people of wetpixel!
I have been shooting for a couple of years now and finally I feel that I have some material that would be worth sending off to a couple of competitions. Now the question is, which competitions should I join?
Competitions that I know and will join next year:
1: Deep Indonesia
2: Our world underwater
3: LAUPS
Any other major competitions out there that I don't know about?
Does anyone know when the dead-line is for the competitions above? (I can't seem to find a lot of info about these events)
Happy bubbles, Morten.
Which competitions do you join?

There are a lot out there, just read the fine print regarding image rights and see if the prizes are worthwhile to you (in my case, since I have short holidays, most of the contests are not attractive as, if being successful, I would have to throw away trips, that are the most widespread prizes, and usually only for one or not including flights, or just including resort stay but not the diving etc..). It is fun to enter contests, waiting for the results etc... and sometimes ego or pride is enough reward...
Some other competitions are:
World Shootout / Images of the world: http://www.worldshootout.org/
Ocean views: http://wetpixel.com/...es-ocean-views/
Beneath the sea: http://www.beneathth...mpetition/44618

But the most important to me is:
WPOTY: http://www.nhm.ac.uk...egory=7&group=1
Good luck!!!
