Hi all,

I’m running a trip through Divequest next September to La Paz, Sea of Cortez. We decided to go and check it out beforehand and had some nice encounters with the sealions and whalesharks there.

After reading Alex M’s most recent article on models and the saleability of images with people in them, I went for some of that.

Then tried to get a bit of animal with animal interaction

Awesome, the two sea lions kissing and the sun burst with the sea lion are my favorites.

I really like the charging bull and the upside down portrait that you posted on Facebook. Both are very strong.

The others aren't exactly far behind.

Did you get any of the pups playing with starfish and other toys?

Have you yet read about the elephant seal at Los Islotes?

I buy my own photographic kit. Diving equipment manufacturers and diving services suppliers get even-handed treatment from me whether they choose to advertise in the publications I write for or not. All the equipment I get on loan is returned as soon as it is finished with. Did you know you can now get Diver Mag as an iPad/Android app?

Absolutely wonderful...

... but a Zen dome? Really?

I'm very happy with a Nauticam dome and the 16mm, myself...
