i just finished a dive with my rx100 with two ys-90 and i had the strobes set on TTL and slave off. strobes fired during the dive but no exposure from the strobes in the pics. setting in a completly dark ruun the only way i was able to get the strobes to fie and expose the pic was selecting PRE instead of TTL and slave "on".

are these the correct settings for these strobes and the rx100?

I can't say exactly what setting to use for these strobes, I think the S&S manuals are quite crappy.

However, my take is that you must run the strobe in PRE mode for any digital camera using fibre (manual) for it to don't trigger on the cameras pre-flash.

You can only use Optical TTL mode together with another YS90DX that is in TTL mode and harwired to a TTL camera. This can't be done with the RX100 because it does not have an hot shoe.
