Hello,

I'm quite insecure about this small soft coral goby from Bali.

There was more than one species living on this soft coral and their length was about 1,5 - 2 cm.
I'm concidering a Pleurosicya boldinghi...

Any hint is appreciated!

Cheers

Ok, because the goby seems to sit on a sea fan (Acanthogorgia sp.?) it could be a Bryaninops sp.

Maybe a Common Ghostgoby (Pleurosicya mossambica), the have a variation of colours but often with white dash markings along the spine, plus they like to perch on a range of soft coral.

Thanks for your consideration, Brian!
It seems very hard ro get a correct ID - your suggestion is also worth considering.
I'm confused...
