Is it interesting to buy a housing for the nikon SB-900 flash or buy a traditional uw strobe ?
Who has experience with this ?

I have never met a UW photographer that was a proponent of dedicated housed flashes. This seems to mostly breakdown like this.
Cons
Expensive $1000.00+housing,$400+ flash
Limited Beam Angle
Guide number much lower UW
You need dedicated 6 pin ports I think.
No easy back up if your system fails.
Most good UW photographers shoot manual anyway
Pros
True brand specific TTL. This would seem good for Macro. Full camera control.
2nd Curtain sync
Anyone else?
