A whaleshark image from last week in Isla Mujeres. D800E and 15mm Sigma. Just astounded at the resolution of the 100% crop

Resolution is great, but the picture itself, particularly composition - is phenomenal!

Is there whalesharks at this time of year still at Isla Mujares? Great photo

They will see them on occasion throughout the year, but of course not the major aggregation like in the summer.

And a very good example why the D800 is a excellent camera under water.
