I have been contacted by a Rum company out of Sri Lanka and have been asked how much i would sell one of my images for.

I have attached the image they wanted to use. They have only told me it will be used for a poster campaign for one of their white rums in India.

What is a rough idea of what i should charge? I think it is great they have contacted me to use an image and im not looking to get eery last dollar out of them but i would like an idea of what is acceptable.

Thankyou,

Hi Leigh

If you go to Alamy.com you can click on any photo in their library and an interface will come up that asks a few questions such as usage (advertising, editorial etc), country, term of use etc.  Once you fill in those variables it will give you a price that would be in the ballpark for what you need.
