Hi Yuki,

I am interested in the 7D equipment.

I am concerned about the scratch to the dome port.

Can you post some images of this scratch please.

The fact that it shows up on video is not good for me.

It also means that it will

show up at some point on still images, probably

with smaller apertures and consequent greater depth

of field. For me the scratch may render the dome useless I am

afraid, I do shoot video.

I would like to see also the "whiting" on the body.

This sounds like corrosion and I would like to see the

extent of it. Nauticam agent that I deal with says it is not normal.

I already have a 7d and a Tokina lens. Will you sell

the rest.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Neptune.

Hi
Thank you very much for your message.

I don't want to bring any disappointment so I am telling as much as I can.

For the scratch, yes it appears on video. It does not appear on still even with F8. If you want, I can send Raw data photos taken by this. As far as I used, I have never noticed. To show that, I uploaded my latest photos. Those ones are around F3.5-8.

I will try to take some photos, but the scratch is small and very difficult to take.
Have you ever used glass dome port? It can easily get scratches. But those ones can not be seen in water.

For the whitey thing, I consulted with Japanese distributer, fisheye company. They said it is normal and caused by minerals or salt from sea water. They advices me to use just normal salt removers for housing. I cannot understand your shop said its corrosion. 100% it is not corrosion. If so, I will buy it back. As seen on photo, slightly whiten on surface.

If you want to buy separately, I am ok. PM please with yr price.
However, I am afraid that you would be disappointed if you are looking for brand new housing and port. If you can look at used housings, you can easily find that it's used.

----------------------------

Hi

This is for your your reference. Which I took recently.

The scratch is starting from 1:46 at 1/3 from right side near center.

---------------------------

Hi

As requested, I upload photos for the scratch.

It is right bottom if I look at it from back side.

Its about 5 mm.

Very difficult to explain white area.

It is like matt black with very slight white. You can see some slight white area on it.
