My friend jennie took this picture and we are wondering what kind of fish it is as we never saw one of those.
She took the picture in northern Costa Rica

Thanks jiyle,

i maybe forgot to mention that the picture was taken in Playa Hermosa on the Pacific coast.
The Short Bigeye lives - as far as i was reading - in the Atlantic sea and not in the Pacific.
This may indicate that this fish is:
a) a alien species here

b) came somehow trough the Panama channel
b) is a very similar looking species
