I just tried to import RAW files (.orf) of my new OMD to Lightroom but no succes. I got a notice "The files are from a camera which is not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom".

I check for updates but there is no updates available.

My current LR is version 3.6 (camera raw 6.6.).

Is the LR 4 the only option? And will it support OMD RAW files?

Looks like you need at least LR 4.1 to see your files.  Version 4 is worth the upgrade anyway, much better noise handling, etc.

As LR 5 is out, it will solve your issue. It is much more responsive than LR4 IMO, and the new spot healing function is excellent.

Your other option, which is free, is to download the DNG converter 8.1 from Adobe. Convert your files, and then import them into your current version of Lightroom. You won't get to use the camera profiles, however.

DNG converter seems to work ok but its very slow. I will update to LR5....
