Just returned from a trip to Southern California. Plans to dive wreck alley off San Diego fell apart when our charter had mechanical problems, but we also planned to dive the Casino Point Dive Park in Avalon. The dive park was open for business when we arrived on Monday.

There was a lot of crud in the water so I shot with my Nikkor 'Micro' 60mm. I've attached a few photos.

Hi partner,

I'm curious, what did the dive operator in San Diego offer you as commensation for their boat problems?  Six hours is a long drive to get shut down.

Avalon is such a great place to hang out for a few days.  Looks like you had a good trip.

Cheers,

Steve

Steve,

If you want to PM me, I'll give you details about the charter cancellation in San Diego. I'm not looking to trash the dive boat operator on this forum or any other forum for what happened. Sometimes, bad stuff just happens.
