The bulkhead on my Light and Motion Tetra 5050 is shot , (part that plugs the sink cord for the strobe into the housing) Does anyone have a spare bulkhead or possibly a Tetra 5050 you want to get rid of? The bulk head is no longer made. Neither Backscatter or Light and Motion has any leftovers.

Alternatively, I can get a wet link type bulkhead if someone has a wet link cable you would be willing to sell.

I'm waiting for a response from the pm I sent pmooney last night but if that doesn't work out I might consider a whole Tetra5050 if the price is right. I really should be upgrading but I've had such good luck with my 5050 and don't really want to spend the money to upgrade right now.

Tampico_ED, Do you remember if you had a bulkhead on yours and what style? I need the screw in type not the wet link (unless you also have a wet link cable that would work with my strobe).

I have a new Tetra Bulkhead - I Don't recall if its from a Tetra 5050 or 5060.

Don't recall if they have the same cable plugs on the ends.

Also have a new wetlink cable.

Still have a like new Tetra 5060 and Fisheye port.

All is in Australia

And, I should have added to my prior post...

Guy who use to work at L&M said 5050 and 5060 used the same bulkhead (glad I thought to ask :D)

Is the bulkhead you have the screw in type or wet link?

How much is the wet link cable?

Okay then, since this is my second time having to replace the screw-in bulkhead I'll buy the wetlink cable.  But, since I had trouble with frequent disconnects on a demo that had a wet link years ago I'll also buy the screw in bulkhead in case I'm unhappy with the wet link.

An Internet search shows that Australia to US by air is 7-10 days which should get it to me before the event I have coming up if you can get it shipped quickly.

I'll need the your Paypal info. I've updated my profile and don't think I'll have any trouble if you want to pm that to me or send by the email I gave you.

Will adding the two pieces together increase shipping cost?

Shipping will be the same.

Important to understand your dealing with an old camera system.

Be sure sure your ready to spend the upgrade / maintenance money.

Once its in the Air Post system we have no control.

I'm  travelling so this is being run remotely by staff.

Thinking some more - send your post address - if it sorts the issue then pay the money to my son's account.

If it doesn't put them in the bin

Thank you very much!

I've given my options a lot of thought and this just isn't the best time for me to invest in a new system. Having parts will allow me to use the camera for upcoming events and upgrade when the time is right for me.

I've sent my address by PM. If you would like me to at least pay shipping costs up front please send your son's account info and the cost.

Please also let me know when they have shipped the parts.

Thanks!
