3 dives off whale island, nha trang province

 

first time with my new e-pl3 in oly housing with fantasea nano flash. no wetlenses, no filters.

some are edited (cropped, contrast), but not for backscatter - i will do this once i shoot better pics. 

standard lens 14-42 micro four thirds was used.

Thanks for sharing. I don't often see pictures from that corner of the Pacific. Enjoy getting to know your new camera. Some of the close-up shots are very nice already.

Nice work on the harlequin pipefish and the closeups of the anemone shrimp!

 

In some of your shots (e.g. the first 2 andn the dark frogfish), it looks like the strobe didn't fire or wasn't aimed well at the subjects, and the camera was set to automatic so was exposing for the overall frame and not the intended subject. You could work on strobe position and manual exposure to isolate the subjects a bit
