I just bought my first underwater camera (a point and shoot), and bought Adobe Photoshop Elements. After taking a hundred or so photos on a snorkeling trip in the Kerama Islands, Okinawa, Japan, I edited a few. I mainly used the automatic color correction tool, but I also did a little manual color correction, adjusted contrast, etc. Would appreciate suggestions for additional edits I could make to improve the photos.

Dear Adam,

Welcome to the forum! :)

Unfortunately I do not think there is much you can do to drastically improve the images shown above.

You already did quite a good job on correcting the color.

What I would recommend you to do is work on camera skills rather than editing skills, you will get much better results, much faster! :)

Read a few articles on composition, learn how to use the macro mode, exposure control and white-balance settings, that should get you started nicely!

All the best from beautiful Bali, Morten :)
