Anyone dived in the Romblon region of the philipines? I have a chance to go there next Feb, and wondering is this a good diving location?

Seems Romblon is a new hotspot for macro in the Phils. Haven't dived there, just hear say/Viewed pics from friends filipnio divers.

Take a look here

never been to Asia, have the Romblon option but also thinking Lembeh, or Raja Ampat.  What area is best in Feb-Mar?  I would love somewhere I could do a bit of WA in mangroves.  Ideas????

If you want the best of Asia straight away, that would be Raja Ampat for sure!

Feb/march period is ideal.

Why are you focused on Romblon for the Phils?

Just know of someone organising a trip to romblon. Raja ampat does look amazing, though seems to be very pricey to do it from Europe

Raja Ampat is expensive starting from anywhere but it's now you should go before it gets too crowded underwater (and this is becoming the case on some spots). So then what are you looking for other than Mangroves (to be honest I don't know places in Asia where you usually shoot mangroves other than Raja Ampat)? macro, supermacro, blue water, schools of fish, corals, good viz, muck, etc?

Basically feb/march is the period for Similan/thailand, almost all of the Philippines, easternmost indonesia (Raja Ampat, Maluku), Sipadan...
