Previously I've had a nice little slideshow generated, but now my latest Flickr show just appears as a link...

... have I made a mistake, or has Flickr changed its software?

My private web site, http://www.bottlefish.net, gets the background slide show from Flickr, still works for me (although I can't remember how I did it!)

Flickr says no problem<  https://www.flickr.c.../blogging/#2937  >but it obviously doesn't work any more. Used to be a drop down share box where you could copy the embed code I think?

Just another way the team at FlickrHQ have made Flickr more user friendly(read as, Dumbed Down)- https://www.flickr.c...show embed link

Not sure if there is a current workaround Tim. You could have a poke about in their App Garden< https://www.flickr.com/services/ >to see if one of the Slide show generators can still work for you.

Personally I detest the new way Flickr does slide shows on site now, especially since I upload low res images. Grainy versions of my 'masterpieces' sliding across my screen at awkward angles

making a mockery of my compositions really leaves me cold.

Cheers,

Jim.
