large goby?

saw this guy on a recent dive and I haven't seen anything like him in the 2 years I have been diving here:

i'm 95% sure these are of the same fish, I followed it as it was feeding and i lost it for a few seconds so it could be 2 different fish.  It is quite large for a Goby (6-8" in length) but i'm not quite sure what else it could be.

 

any help is much appreciated!

Thank you, I have no idea why i said goby, i was wondering why i couldn't find anything like it and I believe i was thinking blenny but typing goby.
