With all the talk these days of 4K this and 4K that I thought I'd better finally find a day or two to sort out and to edit some HD footage from the PMW200 that I shot in March 2013 in Fiji aboard the Nai'a.  50mbpsXDCAM422 looks lovely.

Fiji really is a wonderful place.  Highly recommended if you like healthy and colourful reefs!

Beautiful stuff Simon, HD is far from outdated I think.

On another note, with all this crazy talk of Fiji, how about we organise a group trip?

The photo guys seem to do it ok so why not a video group trip somewhere?

Great video. I must add Fiji in my bucket list. Did you use the Fathom lens?

Cheers

Everything in Fiji was filmed through the standard port. The macro (ish) shots were on about 35% zoom and using the +4 Hoya flip diopter supplied with the housing. After that it became very soft.

I really loved Fiji and highly recommend a visit. If I'd had a chance to fit Beqa in it would have been even better but at least I've got something to head back for! :)

Not sure what the forum rules are to be honest but we've just had a couple spots open up for our Guadalupe charter in Sep 2015.

Mostly video and limited to 12 spots to maximise time in the water. Mary Lynn is coming along on that trip too! :)
