i had an 3 seconds encounter. the seal escaped such fast like no other animal underwater.

observing the seals from land was more successful

Awesome! The visibility was not the best as I see. I was there last year the same time of year and it was similar. Planning to return there late fall or early summer/late spring for 50 meters visibility.

the vis was really poor.

but this shots are from the better days from the far north of the lake.

vis of 40 to 50 meter must be a blast and worth to dive the lake again.
