The Inon Z240 is the best, excellent choice.  I have two with fiber optic connections, Using TosLink I made excellent cables, 2.2 mm diameter, nice and inexpensive.   Best of luck !

Not that this helps amnong any, but how did you adapt the fibre optic cables to fit on the Inon sensors?

The cap that comes with the Inon strobe has a removable bit. Cut the Toslink cable end to the same diameter as the hole in the cap. Simple.
