it looks like a type of bubble algae, usually Valonia sp.

Sounds about right - got some lovely pics of these at night - they look really cool if you can get the reflections off the surface right.

Actually... common name Sea Pearl "Ventricaria Ventricosa" is a common type of green algae. Very common here in the USVI.

Hi, great shot. These are commonly referred to as a "Sailor's Eyeball"....I didn't know however what it actually was...plant or animal...
