The more I use the Fuji S2 the greater my appreciation for this fine camera. Here are a couple of random shots from the area where I live. The color is very good this year, rivaling the best soft coral reef.



the above photo was take with the Fuji S2, Nikkor 24-120 VR lens with a polarizing filter. I shot it handheld and it would not have been possible without the VR feature. The 24-120 has taken quite a beating on some of the review boards but I really like it as a topside walkaround lens.

Thanks for the feedback. The month of October is beautiful here. After that, it sucks for 6 months.

I haven't been it contact with Woody but I would love to get back to Anilao. Are you guys going again in the spring? Let me know.

Gotta do it Herb, it's beautiful up in New England around now. I was up in Larry's neck of the woods a couple weeks back and the color was fantastic. Hard to focus on the road really!

Beautiful shots Larry. The house on the hill has a distinct "New England" feel to it.

Lovely images. There aren't many times that I regret not being in the US of A (especially lately), but thinking about autumn colors in New England is one of them. Spring in Northern California might be the other.
