The end of Summer is the best time to dive around here. The water temp is still only around 50 degrees, but it's usually clear. All shot taken with the Inon WA lens. Great piece of glass.

Sabine, The minimum distance is no more than two to three centimeters; that's how far away the tip of the hydrocoral was on the lower part of the first shot.

What site(s) did you dive for these photos? I am a fellow Norther Californian and am always looking for new sites in Monterey.

You'll need a boat. I was on the Cypress Sea on Saturday and we dove sites south of Carmel. For a trip summary, see this post on the ba_diving Yahoo group
