When I hit "mark this forum read" it is no longer working. (Though it was working for the first couple days.)

Now, it just takes me back to the master forums list, and leaves the forum threads in the same read/unread state as they were.

"mark all forums read" is also failing now, when it was working before.

Right now, it is not working again for me.

If I go into the gallery:general chat, I see 7 threads marked with new posts.

If I hit "mark this forum read", and when it takes me back to the main list, the icon for general chat still is lit up as indicating new posts. When I go back in, all 7 threads still are indicated unread.

I'm going to try logging out and back in, and see what happens.

After logging out, and back in, the top level forums lists shows everything read, but when I go into any one forum, there are lots of threads marked as unread.

Hey, guys. I did change the forum cookie settings to fix a login problem some time ago. I just tried deleting all my www.wetpixel.com and wetpixel.com cookies, and now the feature seems to be working. I'll try again after people post some more...

I'm having a nasty problem with firefox right now so I don't know if it is me, the browser, a plugin, or something else.

I have tried uninstalling all of firefox, it's contents and profiles settings to make firefox go back to playing files within itself. At the minute it seems content on downloading .swf .avi .mpg etc type files and making me play it in winamp or something. It's getting annoying so Even though I have good news don't take me as standard anymore !!

My cookies all deleted nw works for me.

and if anyone has any idea how I can fix my firefox problem I would love you sooooo much .. I have no idea what to do now I have uninstalled and deleted everything ..

regarding firefox - did you install the 1.0.1 update?

There was a note, on the web site, that said "IF you have trouble with crashing, while typing in address bar, then completely uninstall, and re-install fresh." Guess you've already been doing that.

I upgraded yesterday, and have had no problems since.

Eric, logged out, deleted all cookies, logged back in.

Right now, before doing anything, the top level forum list shows no lit up iconds. But within each forum, there are lots of threads that show lit up for new messages.

This inconsistency may be a clue.

Yes, now after ridding all cookies, "mark this forum read", does everything right. As does "mark all forums read", in the "new posts" list.

Lets see if it stays consistent.
