Just a quick message to let everyone know that I am making my annual pilgrimage to Cayman for Mass Coral Spawning in the second half of September 2005.

What is cool about Cayman coral spawning is that we have lots of different species involved. So there are several nights of activity (3-4) and the different species have different spawning behaviours. For photographers this is a nice event because you are not required to assist with the research and are free to take your own pictures.

The other big draw for photographers is the chance to snap the schooling stingrays - this is the very different (and far more natural) stingray city experience. During the digital jam event we have a school of 80 rays.
