I didn't know what forum to put this so I'll try it here. For those of you that don't know about this it is really an amazing feature. I have used it many times without any problems at all. Here is how it works:
Buy an item anywhere using a amex card that offers Price Protection. Look for a better price online. Fax or mail a copy of your reciept and a printed copy of the online ad with the better price and the date. Amex sends you the difference up to $250. Now you ask why not buy from the online dealer that offered the better price to begin with? Because I like to buy locally where I can return the item or get local support.
