Inon have got a newish lens called the UWL-100 28AD. It may not be available quite yet.

This is designed for the Olympus 7070 and Canon S70 which have a wider than normal wide angle lens - around 28mm.

The idea presumably, is to cope with vignetting problems if the current crop of Inon wet fit lenses (UWL105AD, UFL165AD, UCL165AD) were to be added to these cameras.

Can anyone work out if this new lens has a modified or a different type of bayonet mount to the current Inon AD mount lenses?

Hi ,

The bajonet is different ( larger diameter ) an so not compatible to the other AD Lenses but there is a adapter for the UCL 165 AD so you could also mount the UWL 105 ad and others to the AD-28 port but I think the vignetting will get more cause the longer distance to the cams lens.
