Has anyone tried to fit a 20D in the Subal 10D housing?

i tried it using the original base plate, and that doesn't work.
i know that some people has managed to put a 20D in a D60 Sea & Sea housing by making up a new base plate.
Did you try to make up a new base plate?

It's not a matter of the plate, the 20D's pop up flash is longer than the 10D's. If you put the 20D in the C10, the part of the camera that says "Canon" on it hits the circuit board that distributes the flash signal to the strobes.

Have you compared the sheer size of a S&S housing to a Subal? Kinda like putting a Mack Truck beside a BMW.
