Adobe has announced that they will intro a PS Plugin to allow processing of RAW images from digital cameras.
Dave Burroughs, Nikon D300, D2X, Subal housing, DS160 strobes

Just to clarify... We did not announce the availability of a RAW capture plug-in for Photoshop. We previewed some technology along these lines but the plug-in itself has not yet been announced.
Sounds like there is interest though...

This is a MUST HAVE!!!!
I want a RAW plugin that will do Fuji raw files (Fuji calls them RAF) and not just NEF's though. OK? Pretty please?

This exists already :-)
Look at the addin from www.bibblelabs.com - does Fuji, Nikon and Canon RAW formats. Not bad for the cost.
