Hi! I'm a newbie to underwater photography and require your help. I currently own a Nikon Coolpix 4500 and i'm not sure about its strobe system. Does it support the Slave Strobe or does it have the slave sensor? I believe the camera can be hard-wired but i don't really know whether it has the preflash system or anything like that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ;)

If it's like the other coolpix cameras it will not require a slave strobe. You can hook it directly to your strobe using a sync cord.
