A few friends (and wetpixel lurkers) are shooting live feeds from Guadalupe and is the world's first live great white shark series - 'Killer Shark Live' being broadcast on Channel FIVE / UK this Sunday 2nd October at 8pm and every night until 9th October.
This is a shameless plug for them. Maybe it'll bring them out of the lurker closet. You know who you are!

Are you referring to Simon & Jason ?
I saw some of the programmes last week. Great images and generally an informative documentary. But I thought it was a bit too sensational at times. Did they have to keep repeating "shark-infested waters" so many times ? Surely, there must be a better way of expressing the idea of water that is probably densely populated by man-eating creatures

Well unfortunately, sensationalism is what sells.... unless Pixar and Disney want to licence out their version of sharks.

Damn it. I wish my TV worked.

p.s. I got given a copy of Jacques Cousteau's The Silent World on DVD this week (and had to watch it on my laptop). I had never seen it. The footage is amazing considering when it was shot. It is very well edited. Equally shocking is how much conservation attitudes have changed...
